Sony's 12-megapixel full-frame ZV-E1 is a low-light vlogging beast
Sony is aggressively attacking the vlog camera market. The
dedicated ZV series ranges from a fixed-focus entry-level camera to an APS-C lens changer . The only difference is a full-frame camera. It
is said that this position is also filled by the follow-up machine of A7C , but today Sony brings a new ZV-E1 to answer.
Sony ZV-E1 continues to use the same lightweight body design and button layout, and there is a white version, which is really confused with ZV-E10 if you are not careful. However, as a full-frame ZV-E1, it uses the same Z-shaped large battery as the Alpha full-frame camera, which not only prolongs battery life, but also enlarges the handle and improves the feel.
In terms of shooting specifications, the ZV-E1 uses the 12.1MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS and BIONZ XR image processor at the same level as the A7S3. It has a very high sensitivity to ISO 409,600 and a dynamic range of more than 15 stops. It is also the first full-frame camera It supports ZV series product display mode (virtual depth of field + fast switching focus subject), as well as soft skin effects, and the official said that the effect will be better under full-frame CMOS.
On the other hand, the ZV-E1 is equipped with an independent AI processor of the same level as the A7R5 , which can perform focus tracking on a variety of different subjects, including human eyes, animals, and vehicles. As a flagship camera dedicated to Vlog, the recording part will have the highest 4K 120p mode (the factory only has 4K60, which will be replaced by free updates in the future), and has a variety of color styles at the same level as FX3, including S-Gamut3. Cine / S-Log3 , S-Gamut3 / S-Log3, also supports LUT.

For vloggers who may be self-portraits and self-acting,
ZV-E1 has added an automatic viewfinder function, which uses AI to analyze the
subject and movement, allowing users to place the camera and move while
hosting, and it also supports 4K output. At the same time, the ZV-E1 will
have an AI-intelligent image stabilization function, which can have a more
stable image when used for hand-held follow-up shooting, without the need for
an additional stabilizer.
Sony ZV-E1 is priced at HK$16,990 for the net body, and with a 28-60mm lens set, the price is HK$19,490. The pre-sale will be held tomorrow from March 30th to April 11th, and the earliest pick-up will be on April 14th. The pre-order gift is the GP-VPT2BT Bluetooth handle.
